Print and Online Journalist

The role is to support the editor of our monthly magazine with proof reading/editing articles and writing newsletters from the magazine content as well as providing/maintaining content for the website.

• Research, Write, and Produce high-quality news, features, and blog content tailored for both print and digital audiences.
• Publish articles using Content Management Systems (CMS), incorporate SEO best practices, and use social media to promote content.
• Capture images, take videos, and gather audio to complement written articles.
• Attend events, press conferences, and conduct interviews with experts or subjects.
• Verify all information, ensure accuracy, and adhere to legal standards (avoiding libel/slander).
• Collaborate with editors, designers, and photographers to meet daily, high-pressure deadlines
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in copy writing, journalism, proof-reading and/or editing of publications/media releases.
• Graduate Degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
