Education and Experience

  • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (required).
  • Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience in a mechanical drafting role.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, with working knowledge of other CAD/drawing software advantageous.
  • Experience with 3D scanning equipment for dimensional verification will be advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing/fabrication processes, with experience producing General
  • Arrangement (GA), fabrication and assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
