Education and Experience
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in mechanical drafting.
- At least 5 years’ experience of using Inventor is essential.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor is required, while knowledge of other CAD and technical drawing software will be an advantage.
- Experience using 3D scanning equipment for dimensional verification will be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Proven experience in preparing General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
