Our prominent client in the higher education and training sector is looking for an experienced leader to oversee a group of programmes within the Faculty. As the academic leader, this individual will be responsible for advancing the Faculty’s academic mission, ensuring its strategic positioning, and driving its strategic goals in alignment with the Institution’s Strategic and Business Plans
- Doctorate in the related discipline. Professorship is an advantage
- Demonstrated track record as an academic and thought leader in the sector.
- Experience in high-level liaison with internal and external stakeholders and professional boards.
- An appropriate vision for the Department.
- Current and past industry experience is an advantage.
- Demonstratable thought leadership and public presence in the digital capabilities discipline is an advantage.
- Must be prepared to travel occasionally between campus hubs.
- Peer Review Journal Publications local and International.
- A proven Masters supervision track record.
- Strong leadership skills, as well as strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Assist in the development of relevant (Short) courses for the industry and contribute to our growing executive education portfolio.
