Qualifications and competencies
- Matric
- LLB Degree.
- Legal Practice Certificate (Admitted Attorney or Advocate)
- LLM or MBA with a focus on Corporate Law or Business is an added advantage.
- Company Secretary Certification (CGISA)
- Competition Law Specialization
- Public Affairs or Government Relations Experience
- 5+ years post-admission experience with 3+ years in corporate/commercial law.
- FMCG or Beverage Industry Experience (alcohol sector preferred)
- Deep knowledge of corporate law, commercial contracts, and transaction structuring
- Understanding of liquor licensing, food safety, and traditional beer regulations
- Board secretariat experience and corporate governance frameworks.
- Proven track record in government relations and regulatory engagement
