Qualifications and competencies

  • Matric
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry/ Biosciences, Food Science, or related field (postgraduate qualification an advantage).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in plant management within malting, brewing, or FMCG manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in leading large teams and managing complex operations.
  • Strong knowledge of malting and brewing processes, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability in cost management, process improvement, and project leadership.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commitment to people development.
