• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry/ Biosciences, Food Science, or related field (postgraduate qualification an advantage).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in plant management within malting, brewing, or FMCG manufacturing.
• Proven track record in leading large teams and managing complex operations.
• Strong knowledge of malting and brewing processes, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.

• Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and performance analysis
• Expert knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, variance analysis, and KPI development
• Comprehensive understanding of IFRS, GAAP, tax legislation, and statutory reporting

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• N3 Diesel Mechanical Trade Theory with Trade Test
• Driver’s License – Code 8

Experience:

• 10 – 15 years Mechanical Diesel experience
• Experienced in maintaining and repairing Reach Stackers
• Expert in maintaining and repairing Reach Stackers and specifically Kone Cranes
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings for machinery
• Able to read and understand hydraulic drawings
• Computer Literacy, especially on Microsoft Office
• General Warehousing / Materials Handling experience an advantage
• General maintenance process knowledge (Job card system, preventive maintenance, re-active maintenance.

• OSH Act 5 years
